• Christmas Camp 27th - 30th December 2008

In conjunction with the NRHA development plan, I am pleased to announce that following the success of the recent Summer Roller Hockey camp, that the camp organised for Christmas currently has about 20 spaces left out of the 50 available,

In order to continue the development of these squads,
it is important that they improve their confidence and skill by competing against other teams of a high standard.
Unfortunately there is a lack of resources in England at the moment and it is necessary to train and play abroad,
for periods of time, in order to develop the team to play at a competitive level in Europe.

As part of the Development Plan I will be organising two trips abroad for each group.
The grid above shows the approximate time of the year that these trips will take place in each year.

When travelling to Santa Maria da Feira for training, I have made an arrangement with the Residencial Dos Loios as the place where England National teams and Development squads stay when travelling for preparations.

I will announce the Development Squads after February National Training Weekend.

As well as the trips detailed above, I will also arrange trips throughout the year for those players
who have not been picked for the Development Squads, but would like to experience training and playing abroad.
